Grammy award winning, Kawan ‘KP’ Prather, known by his alter ego, KP The Great, is famous for bringing several artists to massive mainstream success including the Atlanta legends Outkast, T.I., TLC, Usher and international superstar Pharrell Williams.
Hailing from Vine City, Georgia, KP began his impactful career as an original member of Parental Advisory, making him First Generation Dungeon Family.
KP has reigned successfully in the industry due to his ability to marry fresh sounds and on-the-rise talent. He transitioned to an A&R role under the tutelage of music business icons L.A. Reid and Pebbles. This move proved rather fruitful as he has been able to sign and produce for popular acts like Goodie Mob, Omarion, P!nk and John Legend.
Along the way, KP received co-signs by the best of the best in the biz including Pharrell Williams, resulting in a solid 20-year friendship and a seat at the table as Head of Music at i am OTHER multi-media creative collective.
He has had a lengthy catalog of success as an A&R and his time has come full circle as he is back behind the turntables.
