Ali’s introduction to many came in the form of Organized Bass, his first major album, in 1997. Released by way of Interscope Records, Organized Bass featured George Clinton, Cee-Lo, Big Boi and more. While that may have been easily his most prominent and best work, Kilo Ali released six albums before that under the stage name, Ali, as an artist on Arvis Records.
Where the younger attendees may be unfamiliar, the older crowd will be pleasantly pleased with the sight of a Bankhead legend. With nine albums under his belt, Ali is taking the stage for the ATL Crunk Set at this year’s ONE Musicfest. Known best for songs like, “Show Me Love”’, “Baby Boy” and “Love In Ya Mouth,” Kilo Ali will join the likes of Trillville, Youngbloodz, Ying Yang Twins, and Eastside Boyz.
The ATL Crunk Set is going to be a set that many people won’t forget. It’s slated to be full of artists that will get the crowd hype. One thing Kilo Ali, Trillville, the Ying Yang Twins and the rest of the performers won’t lack is energy. So, grab your sweat rags, your bottles of water and dress light.
